About Penelope

Penelope Quintero received her B.A. degree in 2010 from the University of California Riverside and her J.D. degree in 2014 from Loyola Law School Los Angeles where she concentrated in corporate law. Penelope has been a member of the New Mexico bar since September 2014. She practiced creditor rights for four years, representing national and international creditors in cases across the state. Penelope is a general civil practice attorney experienced in transactional business and real estate law. Having had experience behind the scenes in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, Penelope also hopes to develop an entertainment law practice in Albuquerque. Whether it is helping the community and businesses affected by the expanding filming industry, or helping those in the entertainment industry easily navigate and work with the local community to continue developing a thriving relationship, Penelope's skills and experience can help. Penelope served as a board member and bylaws committee chair for Villa Encantada Homeowner's Association for three years, where he helped update the Bylaws for the first time in over 30 years. Penelope has additional experience with mortgages, real estate contracts, title curative, foreclosure, collections, replevin, evictions, Truth in Lending laws, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
