Business Owner

John Joyce, a stranger at the time, called me in October 2004, and introduced me to LegalShield. I had Googled the company name and became a corporate lead. I didn’t know at that time, but this man would help change the direction of my life and would play an instrumental role in guiding and shaping me into who I am today.

His guidance and belief in me early on in this business kept me going through the ups and downs, and I will forever be grateful to him and honored to call him my friend. RIP John!

I also didn’t know at that time that this company would introduce me to people whom I now call great friends, people from all across the country who, without them, my LegalShield business would not be where it is today. I am so grateful for their support, leadership and friendship. Even more exciting than earning my own Ring is watching several friends in our organization earn theirs!

I am also grateful for the Minnesota law firm who continually supports us in the field, along with our Minnesota LegalShield family. Mary and I are grateful for you!

LegalShield has some great leaders who continue to pour into me and my organization whether they have a financial gain or not, and I want to thank John Hoffman and Mark Riches for their continued support and belief in me. And, of course, Harland and Shirley Stonecipher; I am forever grateful for their vision. It is because of them that I am able to build a business and leave a lasting legacy for my family. Above all, Mary and I thank God for guiding us and opening our eyes to the life preserver He threw out to us called LegalShield.

Prior to LegalShield, I was working 80 hours a week in the auto industry, feeling trapped and not sure how to escape, although I knew I needed to. My daughter asked me once if I was out of town for the week. No, I was just leaving for work before she got up and not getting home until after she went to bed. That is no life!

I then opened my own dealership right before 9/11. Knowing my dealership would suffer, I ramped up my real estate endeavors, only to face challenging times of closing our store, the economy collapsing, and the real estate bubble. In the early 1980s, I was involved in A.L. Williams & Associates, but I was not patient enough to be successful. When John Joyce showed me LegalShield, I saw it was a lot like A.L. Williams, and I felt this was my second chance. I dug into the training and followed the 10 Core Commitments, and by being patient and persistent, I am where I am today. I love working from home, the choices I can make, the peacefulness of my life and the schedule that has allowed me to travel and spend quality time with my family.
