David L. Shimanovsky graduated from Illinois State University in 1985 and from The University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law in 1988 (Formerly The John Marshall Law School). While in law school, David worked at the Cook County State Attorney's office as a 711 intern trying criminal cases. Since his admission to The Illinois Bar in 1988, David has represented clients in various legal matters ranging from commercial litigation and medical malpractice defense to real estate transactions as well as estate planning and probate. David’s 34 years of experience encompass a wide range of matters including tort law, family law, real estate, estate planning, business law, corporate law, employment law, commercial litigation, probate law and appellate practice. David is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, and is a graduate of the Fred Lane trial Technique Course. As the co-managing partner of the Illinois provider for LegalShield since 1991, David has the unique opportunity to lead a talented group of attorneys dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives.
