Robert J. Russell, “Buster”, graduated Jones School of Law in 1985 and has been licensed to practice law since April of 1986. From there, Mr. Russell has clerked for Supreme Court Justice, Mark Kennedy, for six months until he was selected to be city attorney for the city of Montgomery, AL. as well as the Assistant District Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama. Mr. Russell began private practice in 1992 as an associate with Parnell and Crum, P.A. and was promoted to partner primarily focusing on general practice of law. In 2010, Mr. Russell joined the Anderson Law Firm to focus primarily on Domestic Relation practice with specialty in Matrimonial Law and related litigation. From 2002, Mr. Russell has maintained his position as the Chief Prosecutor for the city of Montgomery.

Charles L. Anderson is the founder and managing partner of The Anderson Law Firm, L.L.C., with offices in Montgomery, Alabama, and Jackson, Mississippi. A native of Montgomery and a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, he was a recipient of the Jimmy Hitchcock Memorial Award as a high school Senior in 1978. Anderson earned his BA degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa honorary society and the Furman University Athletic Hall of Fame. He received his J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in 1985 where he attended on an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship. Upon graduation, Anderson served as a law clerk to the Honorable H. Randall Thomas, Presiding Judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Alabama. He was admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in Alabama in 1985. His practice encompasses a broad range of civil litigation and mediation. He has been the principal provider attorney for LegalShield in the state of Alabama since 1991. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, and the Montgomery County Bar Association where he has served on the Board of Directors. He has been on numerous committees for the Alabama State Bar. He is a past president of the Montgomery County Young Lawyers and has served as Chairman of the Alabama State Bar Committee on Pre-Paid Legal Services, and the Alabama Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee. Anderson is a member of the Alabama Association for Justice Board of Governors, the American Association for Justice, and is a Master of the Bench and Past President of the Hugh Maddox Chapter - American Inns of Court. He possesses the AV peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell. A registered mediator with the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution, Anderson has completed course work in mediation offered by the American Arbitration Association and The Program of Instruction for Lawyers at the Harvard Law School. He regularly provides pro bono service as a mediator in the Montgomery County Small Claims Court.

James M. Williams received his B.S Degree from Auburn University in 1990 and his J.D. degree in 1993 from Cumberland School of Law. Mr. Williams is a member of the Alabama and Florida State Bar. He is admitted to practice in United States Federal Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Williams' practice is focused on Civil Litigation, Federal and State Criminal Defense, Probate, Wills and Trusts. Mr. Williams prior work experience was as an Assistant District Attorney for the 5th Circuit of Alabama and as a Consultant for Alfa Insurance

Ben started working at the Anderson Law Firm in 1992 and has been the supervising attorney since 2003. He became a partner in 2006. He is licensed in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi and maintains an active docket in all three states. He speaks at Super Saturdays, oversees Associate events for the firm and leads the Estate Planning Webinars and live events. He also provides advice and counsel to LegalShield members every day.

Emily received her B.S. degree in 2010 from Troy University. Immediately thereafter, she joined and served in the U.S. Army as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. After discovering her passion for law, she obtained her J.D. in May 2020. Prior to joining Anderson, Williams, and Farrow, LLC, she was a solo attorney in private practice focused on general practice matters. She is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Federal Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama.
