PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE ANDTHE LEGALSHIELD® PRIVACY POLICYBEFORE USING THE WEB SITES, LEGALSHIELD APPS, OR OUR LEGALSHIELD PRODUCTS ANDSERVICES (collectively our “Services”). These Terms of Use (the “Agreement” or“Terms of Use”) govern your access to and use of our websites, which includeslegalshield.com, idshield.com, any other website published by LegalShield(each, a “Web Site”), and our mobile applications we make available fordownload from an official mobile application store (each, a “LegalShield App(s)”),such as the Apple App Store® or the Google Play® Store, and all services andsub-sites available on or through any of the Web Sites, as well as all text,audio, video, images, graphics, materials, online communications, and otherinformation and content that are or become available on or through the Websitesor LegalShield Apps. These Terms of Use do NOT apply to any services provideddirectly to you by our provider law firms. The Web Sites and LegalShield Apps aremade available to you by or on behalf of Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. d/b/aLegalShield and its subsidiary companies (“LegalShield,” “we,” “our” or “us”).
LegalShield subsidiaries includePre-Paid Legal Casualty, Inc., Pre-Paid Legal Access, Inc., PPL Legal Care ofCanada Corporation, LS, Inc., EAP, Inc., and Stillway, LLC (hereinafter“LegalShield”).
By using our Services, you (“you”or “User”) signify your acceptance of these Terms of Use and youracknowledgement that the information that you provide, directly or indirectly,through the Services will be managed in accordance with the LegalShield PrivacyPolicy, available at https://www.legalshield.com/privacy-policy.
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMSOF USE, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.
Solicitation or Offer. TheWeb Sites, LegalShield Apps, and the information provided are for generalinformational purposes about LegalShield, its products and Services, and itsrelated companies. Any product or plan described on the Web Sites orLegalShield Apps may have exclusions, limitations, reductions in benefits andterms under which it may be continued in force or discontinued. For moreinformation, please consult a sales associate and/or your membership contract.Some products and/or Services may not be available in all states or provinces.Your eligibility for any particular product or service is subject to finaldetermination by LegalShield. The Web Sites and LegalShield Apps may offergeneral information about the law and legal plans. The Web Sites andLegalShield Apps cannot and do not contain legal advice. LegalShield is nota law firm. The legal information is provided for general informational andeducational purposes only. Use of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps does notcreate an attorney-client relationship. The Web Sites and LegalShield Appsshould not be used as a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Prior totaking any actions based upon such information contained in the Web Sites andLegal Shield Apps you are strongly encouraged to consult with a LegalShield providerlaw firm, or other licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction. The use orreliance on any information contained in the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps issolely at your own risk and subject to the warranties, limits of liability, andindemnifications provided in these Terms of Use.
Communications. You agreethat by providing your contact information to LegalShield, you consent toreceiving communication from LegalShield, its affiliates, and its agents inconnection with your membership. This may include communication about youraccount, features, and Services via email, push notification, phone, or textmessage (including by an automatic telephone dialing system and/or with anartificial or pre-recorded voice) at any of the phone numbers provided by youor on your behalf. Text messaging and data charges may be applied by your cellphone carrier.
You are not obligated to consentto receiving automated marketing phone calls or text messages about otherLegalShield products as a condition of membership. If you believe that you arereceiving automated marketing communications by text message or phone in error,then you may opt out by following any opt-out instructions provided with thecommunication or by contacting customer service. Likewise, if you wish to stopreceiving marketing emails, you may opt out by clicking “unsubscribe” on theemail. If you do not opt out, LegalShield may continue to contact you about newfeatures and cost-saving opportunities as outlined in these Terms of Use and/orin the LegalShield PrivacyPolicy. If you change your contact information, please let LegalShield knowso you can continue to receive communications.
Mobile Text Message Services Terms. The following terms in this section applies to any person who (1)signs up to receive one or more SMS/MMS messages and/or messages from us, or(2) sends us messages via SMS or MMS.
When you sign up for our textalert program, you are expressly consenting to receive recurring text messageson behalf of LegalShield. Text message communications from LegalShield mayinclude, but are not limited to: (i) information about your membership or asubscription; (ii) information about our Services; (iii) communicationsconcerning promotions; and (iv) news concerning legal and industry developments(the “Text Services”). Text message frequency may vary based on the messagecontent. You agree that such texts may be generated by automatic telephonedialing systems.
You may opt out of the TextServices at any time by texting the word STOP in response to the message youreceived. If you do that, you will receive one additional message confirmingthat you will no longer receive messages from us regarding your service. Youmay also opt out of the Text Services through your account notificationsettings. Message and data rates may apply.We do not charge a fee for the Text Services; however, depending on yourmessaging plan, your mobile carrier may charge you for each message we send youor that you send us. It is your responsibility to know whether your carrierwill charge you per-message costs (for instance, if you do not have anunlimited texting plan, or have exceeded your monthly quota of free messages).We assume no responsibility for charges incurred by your using the TextServices.
The Text Services may not beavailable in all areas at all times. SMS/MMS messages are distributed via acomplex system of service providers and we cannot guarantee their availabilityor performance. This means we may not be able to successfully transmit SMS/MMSmessages to you, and we have no liability for any such transmission delay ormessage failure. The Text Services may not work in the event of product,software, coverage, or other changes made by your wireless carrier or changesyou make to your mobile device. Carriers are not liable for delayed orundelivered messages.
You must provide your ownwireless device, subscribe to a wireless service on a participating mobilecarrier, and be able to receive text messages using that wireless device andyour carrier’s service.

Privacy Policy.LegalShield adheres to all applicable laws regarding the privacy of informationsubmitted by Users of the Services. To receive information about the privacypolicy applicable to the Services, please visit our Privacy Policy: https://www.legalshield.com/privacy-policy.This Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference, explains whatinformation LegalShield may collect or gather from you on or through the Servicesand how we will use and protect your information. LegalShield may use datacollected from the Services, including Web Site history data or cookies, inaccordance with the Privacy Policy. Although the Web Sites and LegalShield Appscontain links to other web sites, LegalShield is not responsible for theprivacy practices employed by other web sites. In addition, unless statedotherwise, LegalShield cannot guarantee the security of any data submittedthrough the internet, or by e-mail.
User Eligibility. The Servicesshould only be accessed and used by individuals who are at least 18 years ofage and who agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. The Web Sites andLegalShield Apps may be accessible worldwide; however, the Web Sites andLegalShield Apps are intended for use only in the USA and Canada. If youaccess/use the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps from outside the USA or Canada,you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with the laws andregulations of the territory from which you access/use the Web Sites orLegalShield Apps. Users outside of the USA or Canada are ineligible for our Services.LegalShield makes no representation that materials on the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps are appropriate or available for use in locations outside of theUSA or Canada and accessing them from territories where their contents areillegal is prohibited.
Changes to Terms of Use.LegalShield reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise, change, ormodify these Terms of Use at any time. We will incorporate all material changesto these Terms of Use on this page. Notice of any change may be given in anymanner we choose that complies with law, including, but not limited to postinga notice of such changes on the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps. We encourageyou to review this page periodically for the most recent version of these Termsof Use. Any use by a User of the Services following notice of such changesshall be deemed to constitute acceptance by that User of those changes to the Termsof Use.
Copyright. All rightsreserved. The material and images contained on the Web Sites and LegalShieldApps are protected by copyright and are owned by LegalShield unless otherwiseindicated. No material from the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps may be copied,reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in anyway.
Trademarks / Third PartyContent. LegalShield may display and distribute content and Informationsupplied by third parties on the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps. LegalShielddoes not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of, or endorse, anycontent or Information of any third party. Any opinions, advice, statement,services, offers or other content or Information expressed or made available bythird parties, including, without limitation, information providers or anyother user of the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps, are those of the respectiveauthor(s) or distributor, and not LegalShield. Use of Elle™. Elle™ isLegalShield’s proprietary AI agent. The information made available by Elle™ ismeant to provide general information and is not intended to provide legaladvice, render an opinion, or provide a recommendation as to a specific legalmatter. Information presented from Elle™ is not a substitute for competentlegal counsel from a licensed professional lawyer in the state or provincewhere your legal issues exist, and you should seek legal counsel for yourspecific legal matter. Elle is not intended to be used by minors, and you mustbe at least eighteen (18) years of age to use Elle. All information provided byElle™ is accepted in good faith. However, LegalShield makes no representationor warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy,validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of such information. We grant to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferablelicense to use the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps in strict accordance withthese Terms of Use and the instructions provided by us on the Web Sites andLegalShield Apps.
The materials provided on the WebSites and LegalShield Apps, including, without limitation, the information,computer code, and related functionality, are for your personal, private andnon-commercial use only. Except as may be explicitly permitted through the WebSites and LegalShield Apps, you may not copy, modify, upload, republish,distribute, display, post, license, create derivative works from, or transmitanything you obtain from the Web Sites, including anything you download fromthe Web Sites or LegalShield Apps, unless you first obtain our written consent.Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved to LegalShield and itsaffiliates. Restrictions on Use. As acondition of your use of the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps, you warrant toLegalShield you will not use the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps for any purposethat is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions and notices. You maynot use the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps in any way that could damage,disable, overburden or impair the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps or interferewith any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps.You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information throughany means not intentionally made available or provided through the Web Sitesand LegalShield Apps. This includes without limitation the followingactivities: Provide false or misleading registration information, disclose yourusername or password to anyone else, or use an account, username, password, orpersonal information of another user; Harvest or collect information about anyusers of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps; Transmit or facilitate thetransmission of any “junk mail,” “chain letters,” or unsolicited mass mailingor “spamming” in connection with the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps; Use anyrobot, spider, site search/retrieval application or automatic device toretrieve, index “data mine” or in any way reproduce or circumvent thenavigational structure or presentation of the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps orany content or information contained in the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps;Modify the Information, content, programs or other materials on the Web Sitesand LegalShield Apps or hack into or access the LegalShield servers, Web Sitesor LegalShield Apps in an unauthorized manner; Frame or mirror any part of theWeb Sites or LegalShield Apps, without the express permission of LegalShield;Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate or otherwise alter anyportion of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps; Upload or input to the Web Sitesor LegalShield Apps any information that contains viruses, Trojan horses,worms, time bombs, or other computer programming routines that are intended todamage, interfere with, intercept, or expropriate any portion or system of theWeb Sites or LegalShield Apps.
You agree that your use of theWeb Sites and LegalShield Apps may be suspended or terminated immediately uponreceipt of any notice which alleges that you have used the Web Sites orLegalShield Apps in violation of these Terms of Use and/or for any purpose thatviolates any local, state, federal or law of the USA and/or Canada or otherjurisdictions, including, but not limited to, the posting of User Content thatmay violate third party rights, may defame a third party, may be obscene orpornographic, may harass or assault others, or may violate any laws, rules orregulations, including, hacking or other criminal regulations. You understandthat actions in violation of these Terms of Use may subject you to seriouscivil and criminal legal penalties, and LegalShield reserves the right topursue penalties and other remedies to the fullest extent of the law to protectour rights.
License to LegalShield.LegalShield may, in the sole discretion of LegalShield , permit you from timeto time to submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available to LegalShieldthrough our Services textual, audio, and/or visual content and information,including commentary and feedback related to our Services, initiation ofsupport requests, and submission of entries for competitions and promotions(“User Content”). Any User Content provided by you remains your property.However, by providing User Content to LegalShield, you grant LegalShield a worldwide,perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right tosublicense, to use, copy, modify, create derivative works of, distribute,publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit in any manner suchUser Content in all formats and distribution channels now known or hereafterdevised (including in connection with our Services and business and on third-party sitesand services), without further notice to or consent from you, and without therequirement of payment to you or any other person or entity.
You represent and warrant that:(i) you either are the sole and exclusive owner of all User Content or you haveall rights, licenses, consents and releases necessary to grant LegalShield thelicense to the User Content as set forth above; and (ii) neither the UserContent, nor your submission, uploading, publishing or otherwise makingavailable of such User Content, nor the use by LegalShield of the User Contentas permitted herein will infringe, misappropriate or violate a third party’sintellectual property or proprietary rights, or rights of publicity or privacy,or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.
You agree to not provide UserContent that is defamatory, libelous, hateful, violent, obscene, pornographic,unlawful, or otherwise offensive, as determined by LegalShield in its solediscretion, whether or not such material may be protected by law. LegalShieldmay, but shall not be obligated to, review, monitor, or remove User Content, inthe sole discretion of LegalShield and at any time and for any reason, withoutnotice to you.
Passwords and Security.Certain aspects of the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps may require registration.You agree that if you create or if you are issued a username and password inconnection with access to or use of any of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps,you are responsible for keeping such information secret and strictlyconfidential. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur underyour username and/or password, including, without limitation, allcommunications, submissions or financial obligations. You are responsible forchanging your password if you believe that your password or username has beenlost, stolen or might otherwise by misused. You agree to notify us immediatelyof any unauthorized use of your username or password or if any other breach ofsecurity is suspected by you.
Subscriptions, Membership andServices. You may subscribe to certain free trial, premium, paid servicesor memberships available on the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps (collectively“Subscriptions”) and such actions by you are voluntary. A Subscription willenable you to access certain features and Services when available. Your use ofSubscriptions is subject to these Terms of Use.
Notice of Auto Renewal; Effect of Cancellation. To providecontinuous service to paid users who purchase a Subscription, unless otherwisestated, we will automatically renew your Subscription. The renewal term isusually the same duration as the Subscription term purchased (for example, amonthly plan will renew each month).
By making a Subscription purchaseon our Services, you acknowledge that your account will be subject to theabove-described automatic renewals. At any time, if you do not wish youraccount to renew automatically, or if you wish to cancel your Subscription atany time, please visit here for more information: https://www.legalshield.com/legalshield-how-cancel-your-plan/.You must cancel your Subscription at least five (5) days prior to renewal toavoid future charges.
Please note that yourSubscription may be interrupted as a result of a canceled or expired paymentcard or other payment method. It is your responsibility to keep your paymentcard or payment method details up to date to continue accessing our Services.
Payments. All payments related to your Subscription or otherpurchases must be made from a payment method on which you are the named accountholder (the “Payment Method”). Unless otherwise stated, all fees due for theSubscription are payable in advance and will be billed automatically to thePayment Method. You agree that we will not be liable for any loss caused by anyunauthorized use of your payment card or any other method of payment by a thirdparty in connection with our Services. Any attempt to defraud LegalShieldthrough the use of payment cards or other payment methods will result inimmediate termination of your account and civil and/or criminal prosecution. Inthe case of suspected or fraudulent payment, including use of stolencredentials, by anyone, or any other fraudulent activity, LegalShield reservesthe right to block your account. LegalShield is entitled to inform relevantauthorities or entities (including credit reference agencies) of any paymentfraud or other unlawful activity, and may employ collection services to recoverpayments.
Payments and Financial Transaction Processing. LegalShield may usethird party electronic payment processors and/or financial institutions(“Payment Processors”) to process financial transactions. You irrevocablyauthorize us, as necessary, to instruct such Payment Processors to handle suchtransactions and you irrevocably agree that we may give such instructions onyour behalf in accordance with your requests as submitted on our Services. Youagree to be bound by the terms and conditions of each applicable PaymentProcessor. In the event of conflict between these Terms of Use and the PaymentProcessor terms and conditions, these Terms of Use shall govern.
Fee Changes. We reserve the right to increase Subscription fees orto institute new fees at any time with reasonable advance notice. If you do notwish to pay the new prices, you can cancel your Subscription prior to thechange becoming effective.
External Links. The WebSites and LegalShield Apps may provide links to other web sites or resourceswhich are not maintained or controlled by LegalShield (collectively “LinkedSites”). LegalShield is neither responsible for, nor aware of, the content ofthose Linked Sites. The inclusion of any hyperlinks to Linked Sites does notimply approval of or endorsement by LegalShield of those Linked Sites, orcontent, products and services offered on those Linked Sites. LegalShieldexpressly disclaims any responsibility for the content, copyright compliance, accuracyof the information and/or the quality of the goods or services provided by oradvertised on any Linked Sites, and in no event shall LegalShield be heldresponsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage caused oralleged to have been caused in connection with the use of or reliance on anycontent, goods or services available on any Linked Sites. Any concernsregarding any Linked Sites should be directed to that respective web site,rather than to LegalShield or the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps. You arecautioned to read the terms of use and privacy policies provided on any LinkedSite before using the Linked Site.
Social Network Features.Our Services may include features that operate in conjunction with certainthird-party social networking websites that you visit, such as Facebook,Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (“Social Network Features”). While your use ofSocial Network Features is governed by these Terms of Use, your access to anduse of third-party social networking sites is governed by the terms posted onthose sites. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of those socialnetworking sites complies with any applicable Terms of Use or other agreements.
Mobile Features. You areresponsible for making all arrangements necessary to access our Services. Forexample, access to our Services, including any mobile app, may require the useof certain mobile devices or a wireless data service. You may incur chargesfrom your wireless provider when you use the mobile app. We may update the appat our discretion. If you accept these updates, you agree to pay any and allcosts associated with receiving them. LegalShield makes no representations thatthe Web Sites or LegalShield Apps will be compatible with your device orwireless data service.
Disclaimer of Warranties.LEGALSHIELD MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ABOUT THE WEB SITES ORLEGALSHIELD APPS, THE SUITABILITY OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON OR RECEIVEDTHROUGH THE WEB SITES, OR ANY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH THE WEBSITES OR LEGALSHIELD APPS. ALL INFORMATION AND USE OF THE WEB SITES ANDLEGALSHIELD APPS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Limitation of Liability.UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL LEGALSHIELD BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING,WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL ORCONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFITS THAT RESULT FROM, OR ARISE OUT OF OR INCONNECTION WITH THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE WEB SITES OR LEGALSHIELDAPPS, THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON OR RECEIVED THROUGH USE OF THE WEB SITES ORLEGALSHIELD APPS, OR ANY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH THE WEB SITES.THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT,TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF LEGALSHIELD HASBEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DONOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,LEGALSHIELD LIABILITY IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUMEXTENT PERMITTED BY THE LAW OF YOUR JURISDICTION.
Indemnification. You agreeto defend, indemnify and hold harmless LegalShield, its affiliates andsubsidiaries, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees,representatives, sales associates, proprietors, partners, shareholders,principals, agents, predecessors, successors and assigns from and against anyand all claims, proceedings, damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, costs andexpenses (including attorney’s fees and litigation expenses) relating to orarising from your use of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps, any breach by youof these Terms of Use, your negligent or intentional acts, errors or omissionsin regard to the subject matter of these Terms of Use, or your failure tocomply with applicable laws in your use of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps.
No Waiver. If you do not comply with the Terms of Use, and we donot take enforcement action right away, that does not constitute a waiver, andwe are not giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking enforcementaction in the future).
Submissions. We do not accept or consider creative suggestions,ideas or other materials other than those LegalShield has specificallyrequested. If, despite our request that you not send us any creative materials,you send us comments, suggestions, ideas, concepts, drawings, pictures or othermaterials (collectively, the “Submissions”), the Submissions shall be deemed,and shall remain, the property of LegalShield. None of the Submissions shall besubject to any obligation of confidentiality on the part of LegalShield or itsaffiliates, and neither LegalShield nor any of its affiliates shall be liablefor any use or disclosure of any of the Submissions. Without limitation of theforegoing, LegalShield shall exclusively own all now known or hereafterexisting rights to the Submissions of every kind and nature through the worldand shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purposewhatsoever, commercial or otherwise, in any form of media, now known orhereafter created or perfected, without compensation or attribution to theprovider of the Submissions.
Changes to Web Sites andLegalShield Apps. LegalShield shall have the right at any time to change ordiscontinue any aspect or feature of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps,including, but not limited to, content, hours of availability and equipmentand/or software required for access or use of the Web Sites or LegalShield Appsor any portion of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps.
Termination. We reservethe right to terminate a User’s use of the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps atany time without notice. Without limiting the foregoing, we shall have theright to immediately terminate these Terms of Use with any User without noticeor to terminate or suspend access by that User to the Web Sites and LegalShieldApps, or cancel any orders, if applicable, placed by that User if, in the solediscretion of LegalShield, the Userbreaches any term or provision of these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy or failsto comply with any instructions posted on the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps.The provisions of the following Sections shall survive termination orexpiration of this Agreement: External Links, Disclaimer of Warranties,Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Choice of Law and Forum, Termination,and Software Licenses.
Monitoring. The Web Sitesand LegalShield Apps generally do not pre-screen, monitor or edit the contentposted by users of the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps. LegalShield and itsagents and representatives have the right, at their sole discretion, but noobligation, to monitor the use and content of the Web Sites and LegalShieldApps and reserve the right to edit, refuse to post or remove any content orInformation that, in the sole judgment of LegalShield, does not comply withthese Terms of Use or is otherwise objectionable.
Software License(s). Anysoftware that is made available to download from the Web Sites or LegalShieldApps (“Software”) is owned or licensed by LegalShield and/or its affiliates orsuppliers and is subject to United States and international copyright, tradesecret, trademark and other laws protecting intellectual property. Use of theSoftware is governed by the terms of the end user license agreement, if any,which accompanies or is included with the Software, unless acceptance of adifferent license agreement is required prior to downloading the Software (the“License Agreement”). The Software is made available for downloading solely foruse by end users according to the License Agreement. Any reproduction or redistributionof the Software not in accordance with the License Agreement is expresslyprohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Without limiting theforegoing, copying or reproduction of the Software to any other server orlocation for further reproduction is expressly prohibited. The Software iswarranted, if at all, only in accordance with the terms of the LicenseAgreement. EXCEPT AS WARRANTED IN THE APPLICABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THATSOFTWARE, LEGALSHIELD HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESSOR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OFMERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
You acknowledge that any Softwareavailable or provided to you on the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps may containtechnology that is subject to strict controls by various agencies of the UnitedStates Government pursuant to United States export control laws andregulations. You hereby agree that you will not transfer or export suchsoftware from the United States or re-export such Software outside the UnitedStates in violation of United States export laws and regulations. LegalShielddoes not authorize the downloading or exportation of any software or technicaldata from the Web Sites or LegalShield Apps to any jurisdiction prohibited bythe United States export control laws and regulations.
Choice of Law and Forum.The Web Sites and LegalShield Apps are controlled by LegalShield from itsoffices within the State of Oklahoma in the USA. To the fullest extentpermitted by applicable law, these Terms of Use and any actions or claimsarising out of or in relation to these Terms of Use or the use of the Web Sitesand LegalShield Apps will be governed by and construed in accordance with thestatutes and laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflicts oflaws principles. Except where prohibited by law, any claim or dispute shall besubject to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courtsin Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, and you hereby consent to the personaljurisdiction of those courts and waive any and all jurisdictional and venuedefenses otherwise available. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted inEnglish.
INSURANCE ENTITIES.LegalShield products and Services are regulated in a number of states includingthe following: Pre-Paid Legal Casualty, Inc. (Alaska, Massachusetts, New Jersey,and Virginia).
Miscellaneous. If anyprovision of these Terms of Use is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceablefor any reason, that provision will be deemed severable and shall not affectthe validity or enforceability of any other provision. These Terms of Useconstitute the entire agreement between you and LegalShield regarding your useof the Web Sites and LegalShield Apps.
