Mr. Joseph M. Woodland received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1982 and graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (now Seattle University) in 1985. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Woodland practiced law in the private sector and then as Public Defender in Mason County, Washington. Mr. Woodland joined LOMBINO ∙ MARTINO in 2006, where his primary focus is on Family Law, Criminal Law, Juvenile Law, Collections Law and Consumer/Finance. Mr. Woodland has been the recipient of several awards from Prepaid Legal Services, Inc. (now LegalShield) for his contributions and legal services rendered to members of LegalShield.

LARRY S. SPOKOINY graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, 1984. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Spokoiny also holds an Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California. Mr. Spokoiny is a two-time Member's Choice Award winner through LegalShield, Inc. He is member of both the Washington and California state Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in Washington and California. Prior to joining LOMBINO MARTINO, Mr. Spokoiny spent 13 years in dual business/legal executive roles at two corporations, where he managed up to 85 employees. He has an extensive technology background and taught programming at USC. Mr. Spokoiny has also worked as a software test engineer at Microsoft, and supervised a portfolio of Internet-based financial ASP products at NVST. Mr. Spokoiny's practice is limited to primarily Personal Injury, Trademarks and Business Law.

James (“Jay”) Burnett completed his BA in Humanities at Colorado State University in 1977 and entered the US Army. Following his military service, Jay worked as a librarian, earning Masters degrees in librarianship (1982) and public administration (1990) before graduating from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1993. His law practice since that time has included criminal defense, bankruptcy, family law, and landlord-tenant matters. In addition to his legal practice, Jay serves as the Commandant of Schools (Lieutenant Colonel) for the Washington State Guard. An Eagle Scout, Jay was the 1996 Family Law Attorney of the Year for Spokane County, WA, and has received the Washington National Guard Commendation Medal and Distinguished Achievement Medal.

Sally A. Hiserman graduated the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1993 and was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1994. Ms. Hiserman practiced in a small law firm in Everett, Washington from 1995 until 2008. Ms. Hiserman has been with LOMBINO ∙ MARTINO since 2009 specializing in real estate law. Ms. Hiserman has worked with builders, developers, lenders and individuals in every aspect of buying, developing, financing and selling property for 17 years. Her time at LOMBINO ∙ MARTINO has expanded on her initial interests of transactional and contract law to include a wide array of real estate law topics. She has used her extensive knowledge of lending practices and finance to assist clients with current issues of foreclosure, loan modification, short sales and refinance.Ms. Hiserman also enjoys volunteering with several organizations that cater to her love of the outdoors and maintaining the environment including the Washington Trails Association, Master Gardner Foundation, and Kruckeburg Botanical Gardens. When not working you may find her on a mountain trail or gardening in her own back yard.

Leann Paluck received her Bachelor of Science Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound in 1992, graduated from the Seattle University School of Law Cum Laude in 1995, and received her LLM (Master of Laws) in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in 2001. Mr. John J. Barry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1990 and his Juris Doctor degree from Seattle University. Mr. Barry has an established practice focused on real estate litigation, including the representation of Landlords and Tenants. Mr. Barry has also contributed his time to assisting low income tenants at the King County Housing project. Mr. Barry joined LOMBINO ∙ MARTINO, in 2005 where he continues to counsel and assist those who are dealing with real estate issues. Whether it be Landlord Tenant matters to easement issues, from advice as to purchase and sale of real estate to helping resolve issues involving property line disputes, Mr. Barry is available to help.Mr. Barry is also an avid amateur naturalist. Mr. Piza practiced in public accounting for 10 years before entering law school. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Piza obtained his Masters of Laws degree’s (aka “LLM. Degrees”) in Taxation and Intellectual Property. Mr. Piza has a well-rounded expertise in business matters including Tax Collections, Bankruptcy, Corporations and Partnerships, Nonprofit/Tax Exempt Entities, Intellectual Property matters, and Startup Ventures. Mr. Piza has represented clients in both state and federal courts including Tax Court, bankruptcy court, and the Washington state Court of Appeals.

I have litigated cases in the U.S. federal courts (district courts and courts of appeal) throughout the nation, as well as cases on all levels of Washington state courts. I have experience with Washington state administrative hearings and appeals. I have assisted many clients on various immigration matters both before the immigration courts as well as USCIS. I speak, read and write Spanish as a second language.

Mr. Aaron A. Jennings graduated from the Evergreen State College in 1995 with an emphasis in Environmental Studies. Between undergraduate and law school Mr. Jennings spent a year with the AmeriCorps, National Civil Community Corps at the Southeast campus based in Charleston, South Carolina. After completing his term with the AmeriCorps, Mr. Jennings went on to law school at the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College where he graduated Cum Laude in 2000. During his final year of law school Mr. Jennings clerked for the Bonneville Power Administration. After graduating from law school Mr. Jennings spent a term as session counsel with the Washington State Senate and then served as a law clerk with the Kitsap County Superior Court prior to moving on to private practice. Mr. Jennings joined LOMBINO ∙ MARTINO in 2006, where his primary focus is on Probate, Estate Planning, Trusts and Elder Law. Ms. Jessica A. Jozefowicz attended Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2000. In 2004, Ms. Jozefowicz graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law. After graduation, Ms. Jozefowicz practiced law in the private sector in various areas of law, including Collections, Employment, and Probate and joined LOMBINO в€™ MARTINO in 2009 where she has worked primarily in the areas of Collections, Consumer/Finance, Employment Law, and Estate Planning. Ms. Jozefowicz is licensed in both Washington State and in Federal Court for the Western District of Washington.

Mr. Schmidt received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1994, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, in 2000. While in law school, Mr. Schmidt was a member of the Florida Law Review and placed first in the Dean Frank E. Maloney Memorial Writing Contest. Mr. Schmidt was published in the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. Mr. Schmidt was admitted to the Washington Bar in 2002 and currently focuses his practice on traffic infractions.
