Keith A. Carnesale is an experienced litigation attorney practicing throughout Georgia. An honors graduate of Duke University and Emory University School of Law, he began his legal career as a state prosecutor. He worked initially in the DeKalb County Solicitor General’s Office, and thereafter in the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, as a trial attorney prosecuting thousands of cases. Specializing in high-risk victim cases, large-scale drug prosecutions, and asset forfeitures, he worked as a prosecuting attorney for more than seven years. For the past twenty years, he has been in private practice handling a wide variety of criminal defense and plaintiff litigation matters in state and federal court. His criminal defense practice runs the gamut from serious state traffic, property, and violent crimes, to federal money laundering, mortgage fraud and related white-collar crimes. His civil litigation practice focuses on representing the interests of seriously injured victims.

Brian focuses his practice on counseling businesses and individuals about intellectual property related matters including trademark registrations, copyright registrations, and resolving pre-suit disputes involving trademark infringement and copyright infringement. Brian earned his Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Theatre from Oglethorpe University, where he was a Presidential Scholar and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Psi Omega, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies.
