Product Visionary and Strategist Joins LegalShield Executive Team

Company sharpens focus on technology to enhance lawyer-client relationship

LegalShield has appointed legal services technology veteran Vanessa Davis to its executive team.

Davis will head product development and implementation while supporting members and partners with products, services, and experiences that advance LegalShield’s mission of dismantling barriers to equal access to legal services.

"Vanessa has an outstanding track record of delivering meaningful and impactful legal products that members love and use,” said Warren Schlichting, LegalShield’s CEO. "And I look forward to working with her to build upon our existing culture of innovation and discovery at LegalShield.”

Over her career, Davis has held numerous senior corporate leadership roles in product creation and implementation. She has deep experience with leading brands and has built lasting and valuable approaches for consumers that reflect the precise services needed. She spent 12 years at LegalZoom in a similar role, with additional work at Litera Microsystems and One Legal. 

“I was attracted to LegalShield for its mission of bringing accessibility to the legal system and representation for all,” said Davis. “The relationship between a lawyer and a client is special, and as useful tech tools and solutions expand rapidly, we will deploy them to strengthen that partnership fully.”

Davis graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from Dartmouth College and received her J.D. from Yale Law School.
