Ms. DiGiorgio has been admitted to practice Law in the State of New York for 25 years. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts, Southern & Eastern Districts.Ms. DiGiorgio has been admitted to practice Law in the State of New York for 25 years. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts, Southern & Eastern Districts.Ms. DiGiorgio graduated from Fordham University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts. She majored in English, with a minor in Political Science. While at Fordham, Sandra served as President of Fordham College. She was also a member of the Fordham Debate Team, where she developed excellent communication skills which would serve her well as an attorney in the years to come. Sandra then attended St. John's University School of Law, and received a Juris Doctorate in 1990. During Law School, Ms. DiGiorgio held an internship with a Town Attorney in Long Island, N.Y. The internship led to her first position as an attorney, after she was admitted in January of 1991.Thereafter, Ms. DiGiorgio became an Assistant Town Attorney for a Long Island Municipality, where she served as Town Prosecutor for Town Code and NYS Building Code Violations, as well as handling issues of Municipal Liability and property zoning cases.Following her years of public service, Ms. DiGiorgio became associated with private Law Firms, where she practiced in the areas of civil litigation and risk management, including trial work, all aspects of pleadings and discovery, extensive depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, expert and medical witnesses in premises liability, labor law, personal injury, automobile, Municipal liability and Workers' compensation cases.For some time, Ms. DiGiorgio concentrated her practice on matters of Social Security Disability, and Workers Compensation, wherein she has represented both Claimants and Insurance Carriers.On a personal note, Ms. DiGiorgio has remained devoted to community service, often participating in local school district committees, and holds a volunteer position as a Religious Instruction teacher at her Church.
